Opacity / Transparency Testing Apparatus

Pressmex has indigenously designed, developed and manufactured a unique electronic digital transparency/Opacity meter/equipment that measures transparency/Opacity/hazyness in direct percentage value of the test samples. It is being used widely since last 20 years to measure the transparency/opacity of any semi transparent plastic and other similar materials. The instrument is designed with best optical, electronic accessories to ensure the best repeatability, performance and durability. It is very useful for quality control laboratories where Bureau of Indian Standards are being followed very strictly. This equipment is available with very sharp sensitivity i.e. least count of 0.01% for full range 0 – 100 %.

It is used by manufacturers of PVC Pipes, Plastic moulded industrial and household items, Feeding bottles, PVC Sheets, Pet Bottles, etc. as per IS : 4985, 2000, IS :14625 : 1999 & IS : 15410 : 2003
